Tractor runs over, injures Mich. man

CAMDEN, Mich. -- A Michigan man was injured critically Saturday evening when he fell from a farm tractor and was run over by the vehicle on a rural road.

Charles Leroy Kurtz, 60, of Camden, was traveling south on South Edon Road about 8:16 p.m. when the incident occurred, according to a Hillsdale County sheriff's report.

Mr. Kurtz was taken to Hillsdale Community Health Center and later was flown to Toledo Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition Sunday evening. Alcohol appeared to have been a factor in the incident, which remained under investigation, deputies said.
