Toledo police have obtained an arrest warrant for a man they say robbed a jewelry store Tuesday.

Terrell Anderson, 28, of 1704 Ottawa Dr. is wanted on one count of robbery for taking a diamond engagement ring set from Fulkerson Jewelers, 4141 Monroe St.

According to police, a man entered the store about 3:40 p.m. Tuesday to look at engagement rings. He had been in the store earlier in the day, the report said.

When the sales clerk went to take the rings back from the man, he brushed her hands away and fled. The police report stated the value of the stolen rings was $6,580.

Anderson was shot in the leg outside his home June 20, reportedly by two men in an alley wearing masks.

The police report described Anderson as black, 5 feet, 9 inches tall, weighing 165 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He has a cleft lip and tattoos on his arms, including one of Jesus. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, black pants, and a red Chicago Bulls cap.
