In 30 minutes time, separated by about a mile, delivery drivers from two Toledo restaurants were robbed Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.

The first incident happened in the 2400 block of Cheyenne Boulevard about 11:50 p.m. Tuesday.

Jaron Thompson, 23, a delivery driver for The Oasis, told police two men robbed him of $14. One of the men displayed a small, black handgun and demanded cash and Mr. Thompson's cell phone.

Wade Opaczewski, 38, a delivery driver for Papa John's, reported to police that he was delivering two pizzas to a residence in the 5800 block of Staghorn Drive at 12:20 a.m. Wednesday when he was approached by two men asking about soda pop.

The suspects fled in a southerly direction toward an apartment complex, pushing Mr. Opaczewski aside and taking the pizzas.
