FINDLAY — A Findlay man was rescued Friday from a pond along Bright Road after his car went into the pond and became submerged.

Raymond Robinson, 64, was taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital for treatment after the 10 a.m. incident. A hospital spokesman said he was admitted, but no condition was available.

Findlay fire officials said Mr. Robinson was southbound on Bright Road near Fostoria Avenue when he lost control and drove into the pond. Several passers-by who saw the incident pulled him out of the water.
