Toledo police ask help in finding card thief

Toledo police are seeking help in identifying a suspect who tried to use a credit card stolen from a motor vehicle.

Nine thefts from motor vehicles were reported in June and early July in the 500 block of Holland-Sylvania Road. In each case, a vehicle in at the CYO athletic complex parking lot was broken into and purses, wallets, or other items of value were stolen, police said. Anyone with information about the cases is asked to call the Crime Stopper program.
