MARBLEHEAD -- At least one person remained hospitalized late Monday after a two-car collision Sunday afternoon that seriously injured three people.

William Hirt, 85, of Danbury Township remained Monday night in the University of Toledo Medical Center, formerly Medical College of Ohio Hospital, but his condition was not released.

The Ohio Highway Patrol said Mr. Hirt was traveling south on State Rt. 269 when the car he was driving moved into the left lane and struck an oncoming car driven by Harold Kagy, 78, of Bloomdale, Ohio, causing the oncoming car to roll off the road into a ditch.

Mr. Kagy, and a passenger in his car, Peggy Kagy, 75, also were injured.
