Toledo man accused of attempt to open ATMs

A Toledo man was arrested Tuesday for allegedly trying to pry open ATMs at two East Toledo banks.

Raymond Marsh, 29, of 517 Whittemore St., is charged with two counts of safecracking and one count of possession of criminal tools. He was in the Lucas County jail in lieu of bond, set at $30,000 in his arraignment Tuesday in Toledo Municipal Court.

Police said that about 1:40 a.m. Tuesday, a man used a crowbar to try to pry open devices, one at Charter One Bank, 602 Main St., and another at KeyBank, 324 Main, according to court records. Mr. Marsh is to appear for a preliminary hearing Tuesday.
