A Toledo man arrested after he was recognized by an off-duty police officer from a composite sketch of a sexual assault suspect was indicted Thursday by a Lucas County grand jury.

Kenneth Moore, 19, of 801 Magnolia St., is charged with two counts of rape and one count each of aggravated robbery and aggravated burglary, each with gun specifications. If convicted, he faces up to 47 years in prison.

Also charged in the crime is Anthony Mitchell, 16, who is being held in the Lucas County Juvenile Justice Center. A hearing is scheduled for Aug. 10 before Judge Connie Zemmelman to determine whether he will face the charges as an adult.

The two suspects are accused of going to a 23-year-old woman's Ryan Road apartment in South Toledo on July 16 claiming to sell candles for a fund-raiser, police said. They allegedly forced her to strip and perform oral sex, reportedly threatening her with guns, then left with property.
