The driver, Bruce E. Wyllis, age 63, of Maybee, Mich., was transported by ambulance to Toledo Hospital, where authorities reported he was listed in critical condition. The four volunteers firefighters — three men and a woman — were treated for minor injuries at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, said Fire Chief John Bofia.

The accident occurred about 12:30 p.m. when the fire department rescue squad from the Lewis Avenue station was responding to a shed fire in the 6900 block of Lewis.
