At least 3 injured in 2 separate crashes

At least three people were injured Wednesday night in two separate crashes that involved motorcycles, authorities said.

The first crash was reported about 10:35 p.m. on eastbound I-475 near ProMedica Parkway. One person was taken by Life Squad to Toledo Hospital; another was taken to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center.

Toledo police closed down eastbound I-475 while emergency medical crews tended to the injured. The roadway remained closed while accident investigators did their work.

About 11:05 p.m., a motorcycle and another vehicle crashed at Lewis Avenue and Laskey Road. One person was taken by Life Squad to St. Vincent.

Police late Wednesday had not released the names of the injured.
