A Toledo man shot four days ago called police today to report his injury.

Davonte Lewis, 18, told police he was shot about 11 p.m. on Saturday in the 900 block of Hull Street in East Toledo.

The victim reportedly told police he was shot in the lower right leg while at a party, according to a police report. He told authorities he didn’t think the wound was serious and did not call 911 or seek medical attention.

This morning, the man reportedly said he had shoulder and chest pain that he thought might be related to the gunshot wound.

The victim was taken to the University of Toledo Medical Center, the former Medical College of Ohio. His condition was not immediately available.

Police said crews did investigate a report of shots fired in the 900 block of Hull at 11 p.m. on Saturday.
