Northwood police potentially identify for alleged kidnapper
8/29/2012Northwood police said today that they believe they know the man responsible for allegedly kidnapping and sexually assaulting a woman this morning.
Police said the woman was picked up in Toledo and got out of the semi truck the man was driving at the northbound I-280 entrance to Curtice Road. The man reportedly told the woman he was headed to Michigan to make a delivery; the woman didn't know what the man was hauling.
Police declined to comment further on the investigation, but said the public no longer needed to look for the truck that the man was reportedly driving.
