Construction workers remove debris left by a sport utility vehicle that slammed into the front of the U.S. Post Office on Tremainsville Road in West Toledo. One person inside the post office Wednesday was taken to Mercy St. Anne Hospital with injuries — not believed to be life-threatening — from flying debris, according to Toledo fire Lt. Matthew Hertzfeld. The crash of a vehicle into the post office was the second in a little more than three years. In February, 2009, a car smashed into a window. That driver told police she accidentally hit the accelerator instead of the brake. A customer in the lobby suffered minor injuries in that crash.
