A Sylvania Township man is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday on murder charges for the June shooting death of a man found in a North Toledo field.

Charles McCuin, 20, of 4130 Isadore Lane has been indicted on two alternate counts of murder, both with gun specifications, and one count of tampering with evidence. If convicted, he faces up to life in prison.

Arraignment is to be in Lucas County Common Pleas Court.

Also indicted were Xavier Tate of 161 Austin St. and Michael Fizer of 2361 Hollywood Ave., both charged with tampering with evidence. Mr. Tate also was charged with obstructing justice. Each of the charges is a third-degree felony, punishable by up to three years in prison.

Police allege in court documents that Mr. McCuin shot Lesean Robinson, Jr., 29, who was found naked and face down in a North Toledo field June 10 with a head wound.

Police determined Robinson was last seen alive at a West Toledo motorcycle club about six hours before his body was found.

The tampering charge was filed against Mr. McCuin three days after Robinson's body was found.
