DELTA, Ohio -- Fulton County sheriff's deputies on Sunday released the identities of two found dead in a Swancreek Township yard Saturday.

They are Justin Roberts, 30, of Fulton County's Swancreek Township, and Katie Roberts, 24, of North Summit Street, Toledo. The deaths are being investigated as a murder-suicide, the Fulton County Sheriff's Office said.

The victims were married but separated at the time of the incident, deputies said.

Mr. Roberts, 30, was a truck driver, and Mrs. Roberts was a student, according to their marriage license, filed in Lucas County on May 14.

Deputies were called at 4:05 p.m. Saturday to check the property in the 2000 block of County Road 6, near Delta, Ohio, where Mr. Roberts lived, sheriff's investigators said.

When deputies arrived, they found the bodies in the yard. They also recovered a 22-caliber rifle and a knife.

Autopsies will be performed by the Lucas County Coroner's Office.

Carl Baldwin, a neighbor, said the couple had not lived there long. "They kept to themselves," he said.

A woman who answered the door at the property where the bodies were found declined to comment.

Fulton County deputies were assisted by deputies from Henry and Lucas counties, the Ohio Highway Patrol, and the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation.
