Bond was set at $75,000 Monday for a Toledo man accused in a stabbing over the weekend.

Bobby Tyson, Jr., 18, of 2143 Airport Hwy. is charged with one count of felonious assault in the stabbing of Leonard Nelson during a fight early Saturday at Hillcrest Apartments, 241 16th St., where Mr. Nelson lives.

Mr. Nelson was trying to break up the fight when he was stabbed, police said. Mr. Tyson was held in lieu of bond at the Lucas County jail Monday night after arraignment in Toledo Municipal Court.

The victim was taken to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center with “serious but not life-threatening injuries,” police said. A hospital spokesman said Mr. Nelson was released after treatment.
