Shooting death ruled a homicide
9/12/2012Nicholas Linke, who was shot to death in North Toledo on Saturday, died of a single gunshot wound to the torso, officials said.
Dr. Maneesha Pandey, Lucas County deputy coroner, ruled the death a homicide after completing the autopsy Monday.
Mr. Linke, 20, who was shot in his car in the 1900 block of North Ontario Street, crashed the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center.
Dr. Pandey said none of the injuries from the crash would have been fatal.
Police on Sunday issued an arrest warrant for Tyler Watson, 23, of 331 Lapier St., charging the Toledo man with one count of murder. He has not been arrested.
