Man pushes 80-year-old woman, steals purse

A man reportedly pushed an 80-year-old woman to the ground and stole her purse on Sunday.

The woman, Doris Toeppe, was not seriously injured, according to a Toledo police report.

The suspect later used the victim's credit card at a "local establishment," and was caught by surveillance cameras.

Toledo police are asking for help identifying the suspect, described as white, in his 20s, 5 feet, 8 inches, 170 pounds, with blond hair. At the time of the robbery, which was reported to police at 4:18 p.m. in the Big Lots parking lot, 3946 W. Alexis Rd., the suspect was wearing a white and black "Tapout" T-shirt and jeans. The suspect has tattoos on his arms.
