For the second time in just over a month, a Point Place Subway restaurant was robbed on Wednesday night.

The sandwich shop at 4870 N. Summit St. was robbed by a man with a gun at 9:05 p.m., police reported.

Witnesses told police that a man went into the store wearing latex gloves and a scarf around his face; the man reportedly had a semiautomatic handgun and told an employee, "Hurry up with the money."

With cash, the suspect fled the store on foot, southbound on Summit.

The same shop was robbed on Aug. 25 by an armed man.
