MOUNT CORY, Ohio — A Dayton man was killed Sunday night after his pickup truck collided with a tractor-trailer on I-75 near the State Rt. 235 interchange in southern Hancock County.

Timothy Hudson, 51, was pronounced dead at Blanchard Valley Hospital in Findlay.

Ohio Highway Patrol troopers said he was northbound about 11:15 p.m. when he went off the freeway’s left side, crossed the median, and was struck head on by a southbound semi driven by Gurinderpal Deol, 34, whose home was listed only as being in Ontario.

The semi caught fire. Mr. Deol escaped with minor injuries, but his truck’s cab was destroyed, troopers said.
