A 30-year-old Toledo woman was arraigned on drug charges today, making her the fifth person charged in September's massive mushroom bust.

Autum Johnson, of 543 Colburn St., is charged with trafficking in drugs, illegal manufacturing of drugs, possession of drugs, and tampering with evidence. At arraignment today in Toledo Municipal Court she was ordered to be held in the Lucas County jail in lieu of $25,000 bond with a 10 percent cash option.

Ms. Johnson was arrested Tuesday night although charges against her were filed Sept. 28, according to jail and court records.

She is accused of being involved with a mushroom growing operation that was discovered by police on Sept. 16 at 2454 Woodford St. in East Toledo.

Police have said 137 pounds of the drugs, which they estimate being worth $3.1 million, were confiscated after several residences in Toledo and one in Whitehouse were searched.

Police have also charged Sara Thierry, 38, and her husband, Matthew, 41, of 5910 Berkey Southern Rd., Whitehouse, Ohio. Mrs. Thierry is a Bedford High School Spanish teacher and was put on leave pending the ongoing investigation.

Also charged are Mikael Stiles, 31, of 5360 Secor Rd., who is charged with illegal manufacturing, possession of drugs, and trafficking in drugs; and Ian Golbinec, 31, of 240 Eastern Ave.

The Thierry's, Mr. Stiles, and Mr. Golbinec are scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 31 for preliminary hearings. Ms. Johnson's preliminary hearing is scheduled for Oct. 10.
