Monroe man killed in single-vehicle crash
10/6/2012MONROE -- A 23-year-old Monroe man was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Michigan's LaSalle Township early today, deputies said.
Justin Bodenschatz II was taken to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, according to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies reported that Mr. Bodenschatz was driving southbound on South Dixie Highway, north of Stein Road, when the vehicle went off the west side of the road, struck a utility pole, and overturned at about 2:21 a.m.
Mr. Bodenschatz, the only occupant in the vehicle, was wearing a seat belt, deputies said.
