ADRIAN -- Police in Michigan said the suspect in a non-fatal Adrian shooting could be hiding in Toledo.

Police have charged Angel Antonio Rodriguez, 21, with the Oct. 6 shooting. The victim, a 21-year-old Adrian resident, was shot once in the chest and is still hospitalized but in stable condition, police said.

The victim's name was not released.

Police said the weapon used in the shooting has not been found and that the suspect could still have the gun; they described the suspect as "armed and dangerous."

Police did not say why they thought the suspect could be in Toledo, but said he could still be in the Adrian area.

The suspect is described as Hispanic, 5 feet, 8 inches, and 165 pounds.
