Warrants issued for 2 suspects in Toledo's latest murder

    Toledo police have issued two warrants for suspects in the Friday shooting death of a 22-year-old man.

    Charged with aggravated murder are Andrew J. Goetz, 28, of 614 Earl St., and Chaz Jackson, 28, of 1158 Clark St. Charging documents filed in Toledo Municipal Court on Monday accuse the two of having a role in the death of Jonathan Morris, who was shot three times in a parking lot at Ravine Park Village, an East Toledo housing complex, where the victim lived.

    Neither suspect has been arrested.

    Police allege that the two men approached the victim to rob him. They allege that Goetz ordered Mr. Jackson to shoot the victim.

    Goetz is described by police as white, 6 feet tall, 250 pounds,with brown hair, and brown eyes.

    Mr. Jackson is described by police as black, 6 feet 2 inches, 220 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

    Officials ask that anyone with information on the whereabouts of the suspects call Crime Stoppers at 419-255-1111.
