Ottawa County indicts 2 in June bomb case

PORT CLINTON — An Ottawa County man has been indicted on charges he constructed a bomb that was detonated on the porch of a Port Clinton home in June.

James Tracey, 19, of Port Clinton was indicted by an Ottawa County grand jury for aggravated arson, illegal manufacture of explosives, unlawful possession of a dangerous ordnance, initimidation, and retaliation stemming from the June 19 incident. No one was injured. Mr. Tracey, who was being held in the Ottawa County jail on drug trafficking charges, is to be arraigned Wednesday.

Also indicted in the incident was Kenneth L. Henson, age unavailable, of Fremont, who is charged with unlawful possession of a dangerous ordnance. He is to appear in Common Pleas Court on Nov. 7.
