Former Norwalk teacher sentenced to 3 years probation
10/30/2012FREMONT -- A former Norwalk High School art teacher who admitted having sex with a 17-year-old student was sentenced Monday to three years of probation.
Alexa Nasonti, 25, of Castalia also was ordered by Sandusky County Common Pleas Judge John Dewey to perform 100 hours of community service and to continue counseling
Nasonti pleaded guilty Aug. 27 to one count of sexual battery, a third-degree felony, for having sex with a male student March 31 at a residence in Bellevue. She resigned from Norwalk City Schools in April and surrendered her teaching license.
