BOWLING GREEN — A Rossford man pleaded guilty Monday to setting his house on fire in August.

Ian Ortega, 20, pleaded guilty in Wood County Common Pleas Court to one count each of aggravated arson and aggravated possession of drugs. In exchange for his plea, prosecutors agreed to dismiss an additional count of aggravated arson and one count of felonious assault.

Ortega set fire to his Oak Street house Aug. 19, then fled in his car. Police said they found psilocybin mushrooms in his car. Judge Reeve Kelsey scheduled sentencing for Dec. 17.
