Wood County police group seeks help for program for needy
11/6/2012The Wood County Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #109 is asking school resource officers to call Northwood police Sgt. Doug Hubaker at 419-691-5053 to help him with a program for needy families with children. Sergeant Hubaker works 3 to 11 p.m.
The FOP has scheduled its annual Cops and Kids Christmas shopping trip Dec. 8 at the Meijer store in Rossford. Last year, 65 children participated, and the FOP anticipates it will raise enough money this year to take 100.
