Tractor-trailer rig crashes on Ohio Turnpike

Genoa, Ohio -- A tractor-trailer rig driver was injured when the semi he was driving crashed today on the Ohio Turnpike overpass at West Camper Road, falling off the overpass onto Camper, near this Ottawa County community, the Ohio Highway Patrol said.

The driver, whose name wasn't available, was taken to a local hospital with unknown injuries, according to the patrol's Berea post.

The crash occurred about 8:21 a.m. about four miles east of I-280. The cause of the crash was under investigation.

Genoa is about 10 miles southeast of Toledo
