A Toledo man was shot three times in his legs Saturday morning at Dorr Street and Lawnview Avenue, according to police reports.

Police found Javon Randolph, 21, of North Toledo, with two bullet wounds in his right shin and one in his left shin. One of the bullets may have fragmented in his right leg. He was taken to Toledo Hospital, where a hospital spokesman said no public information was available about such a patient Saturday afternoon.

Officers were called to Dorr and Pelee streets about 2:15 a.m. because of reports of shots fired.

They were flagged down by a witness on Lawnview, which is between Calvary Cemetery and the University of Toledo’s Bancroft Street campus.

The witness directed police to Mr. Randolph, who was on the front porch of a house. Both the victim and witness told police they did not see who shot Mr. Randolph, who was on the sidewalk near Dorr and Pelee when he heard between 12 and 15 shots fired.
