Toledo fire crews fought a blaze today at a vacant apartment building near West Sylvania Avenue and Willys Parkway in West Toledo, authorities said.

There were no reported injuries, according to the Toledo fire department.

Fire crews arrived about 3:52 a.m. and saw flames coming from a two-story, four-unit apartment building at 4014 Eastway St. and attacked the fire. Four hours later, crews were still on scene, overhauling the brick structure, a fire dispatcher said.

The cause of the fire was under investigation. The damage estimate wasn't available.

The Lucas County auditor's Web site lists Deana Deen as the owner of the building. It was built in 1925.
