The Lucas County Sheriff’s Office and the county OVI task force will conduct a sobriety checkpoint from 8 p.m. today to midnight at 7836 Central Ave. in Sylvania Township.

The checkpoint will be staffed by task force members from the sheriff’s office, plus troopers with the Ohio Highway Patrol and police officers from Sylvania Township and Whitehouse.
