Woman’s body found at Mich. boat launch
11/20/2012JACKSON, Mich. — Two Michigan sheriff's offices are joining forces to investigate what authorities believe is a homicide.
The body of a 63-year-old woman from the Addison, Mich., area was found at about 10 a.m. Saturday on a boat launch at Crispell Lake in Jackson County’s Liberty Township. Her name has not been released.
Deputies said the woman's family has been notified and an autopsy was performed Sunday. The results of the autopsy were not available Monday.
Officials said they do not know where the death occurred.
