Fostoria man injured in accident on Rt. 18

FOSTORIA — A predawn pickup crash on State Rt. 18 in Loudon Township left a Fostoria man critically injured Thursday, the Ohio Highway Patrol said.

Michael J. Bouillon, 54, was eastbound on Route 18 about a mile east of State Rt. 587 at 5:26 a.m. when his pickup left the south side of the road and struck a mailbox, a manhole cover, and a ditch before flipping onto its passenger side, troopers said.

He was taken by ambulance to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, where he was listed in critical condition. The crash remains under investigation.
