Police investigating a possible shooting in Toledo's Old South End Wednesday evening determined that no one was actually injured.

According to a Toledo police incident report, a 911 call reporting a person shot at South Avenue and Cordova came in at 6:24 p.m. While police were en route, the call was changed to a no-injury shooting in the 500 block of South.

During the investigation, police determined that Kevin Murphy, 27, was on the porch of his home and yelled at people to get away from his home. He fired a single shot from his gun and then ran inside his residence, according to police.

One shell casing was found at the scene.

Mr. Murphy has been charged with the restricted discharge of a firearm.
