A Toledo man was found guilty in Lucas County Common Pleas Court today of aggravated murder for last year's shooting death of a woman and her teenaged son outside their Page Street home.

Daurin Patton, 27, of 1202 Champlain St. was convicted of two counts of aggravated murder with a gun specification and one count of aggravated robbery.

He will be sentenced Monday by Judge Dean Mandros.

Patton faces life with parole eligibility after 20, 25, or 30 years or life without parole for each aggravated murder plus three years for gun specifications and up to 11 years for aggravated robbery.

A jury of eight women and four men deliberated for about three hours before returning the verdict.

Patton was found guilty of killing Veronica Serrano, 34, and her son Timothy Blair, 14, on Nov. 25, 2011.

Prosecutors called 22 witnesses over three days.
