A bank robbery suspect was ordered Thursday to remain in the Lucas County jail in lieu of $100,000 bond.
Dennis Thompson, 32, of 350 Oconnell St. is charged with one count of robbery. He appeared in Toledo Municipal Court on Thursday morning.
Police said a man reportedly entered KeyBank, 324 Main St., in East Toledo, on Wednesday afternoon, passed a teller a note, and then ran with the cash.
A detective said he determined Thompson was the suspect using video surveillance, and when he was stopped by authorities Wednesday, Thompson reportedly had “bait bills” and stained cash from a dye pack that exploded, police said.
The suspect is due back in court Thursday.
