Toledoan reports shooting in robbery
12/11/2012A Toledo man was briefly hospitalized after he said he was shot in his right leg during a robbery.
Aerial Barnett, 21, was treated at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center on Monday, a hospital spokesman said.
According to a Toledo police report, Mr. Barnett said he was walking in the 1300 block of Colton Street just before midnight when two men approached him and demanded that he empty his pocket.
Police said he reported that he ran, heard three shots, and felt a burning sensation in his right leg. No arrests have been made.
