FINDLAY -- A two-car crash Saturday in Hancock County’s Cass Township sent three people to the hospital.

The Hancock County Sheriff’s Office said Karen Ash, 52, of Louisville, Ky., was eastbound on Hancock County Road 216 when she stopped at a stop sign and proceeded into the intersection. Katrina Glick, 20, of Findlay was driving north on County Road 18 when her vehicle struck the other car on the passenger side rear corner at 5:50 p.m. Saturday. Ms. Ash’s car spun and struck a pole, and Ms. Glick’s car continued north and came to a stop in a field. The crash occurred about six miles northeast of Findlay.

Ms. Ash and her passenger Portia Ash, 44, of Maumee were taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital. Lena Ash, 77, another passenger in the car, refused treatment. Officials said Ms. Glick was taken to the hospital by private car. The hospital on Sunday said it had no information on patients by those names.

Officials said Ms. Ash, the driver,  was cited for a right-of-way violation at a stop sign.
