Man held after troopers find compartment

A Philadelphia man is in the Wood County jail because troopers found an illegal hidden compartment under the passenger seat of his vehicle.

Vincente Herrera, 66, is charged with two counts of possession of criminal tools and having a hidden compartment; his bond was set at $50,000.

Troopers said they stopped a vehicle for speeding on the Ohio Turnpike in Lake Township at 10:59 a.m. Monday. A drug-sniffing canine searched the vehicle.
