Crash sends 3 to hospital in Sylvania Township

A two-vehicle crash on Centennial Road north of Central Avenue in Sylvania Township has sent three people to Flower Hospital, authorities said.

The accident, which was reported at 10:40 p.m., closed traffic on Centennial. The extent of injuries were not known but police and paramedics at the scene asked for two life squads and a private ambulance to transport the victims.

Township police dispatchers said slippery roads may be to blame for the accident.
