BOWLING GREEN — Two Michigan residents are due back in court Wednesday to answer to drug charges after their arrests on I-75 near Cygnet last week.

Alexis Q. Davis, 38, of Clinton Township, and Brian R. Robinson, 36, of Detroit, were both charged with drug possession for 200 Oxycodone pills allegedly found in their vehicle after it was stopped last Wednesday for a traffic violation, the Wood County Sheriff’s Office reported.

The pills have an estimated street value of $6,000. Deputies also reported finding a loaded 40-caliber handgun and $511 in cash in the car.

Both of the accused men were arraigned Thursday at Bowling Green Municipal Court by video from the Wood County jail and were released Friday after posting bonds.
