Ex-husband of woman shot, killed in West Toledo turns himself in

A Toledo woman who was shot to death Monday evening, and the suspect turned himself in to Toledo police.
Robert F. Carter, 43, was charged with aggravated murder after surrendering at police headquarters about 10 a.m. and being interviewed.
Wendabi Triplett, 41, was shot about 11 p.m. Monday in the the 4400 block of Terrace View Street and was pronounced dead about 1:40 a.m. today at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, police said.
There have been 50 homicides in the metro area this year and 38 in the city of Toledo..
