2-car crash near Pemberville leaves man, passenger injured

PEMBERVILLE, Ohio — A Fostoria man was seriously injured in a two-car crash Friday at Sugar Ridge and Pemberville roads about a mile north of Pemberville.

Jarrod Cooper, 44, was flown to the University of Toledo Medical Center the fprmer Medical College Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.

A passenger in his car, Stephanie Durst of Arcadia, was treated at Wood County Hospital.

The driver of a second vehicle, Michael Rayburn, 19, of Oak Harbor, and his passengers, Torri Robbins, 22, and Ryan McPherson, 22, both of Oak Harbor, were not injured, according to the Wood County Sheriff’s Office.

Further details were unavailable about the 1:50 p.m. crash, which remains under investigation. No citations were immediately issued, deputies said.
