2-car crash kills 2 in Lenawee County

ADDISON, Mich — Two people were killed in a crash Saturday night in Lenawee County’s Rollin Township, authorities said.

Scott William McGee, 47, of Pittsford, Mich., and Linda Hardesty, 63, of Malinta, Ohio, were pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, which occurred at about 8 p.m.

Robert Hardesty, 65, also of Malinta, was southbound on U.S. 127 near Manitou Road when he lost control and went into the northbound lane of the icy roadway, deputies with the Lenawee County Sheriff’s Office said. Mr. Hardesty’s vehicle collided with a vehicle driven by Mr. McGee.

Ms. Hardesty was a passenger in Mr. Hardesty’s vehicle. Mr. Hardesty was transported to Allegiance Health, a hospital in Jackson, Mich. His condition was not available Sunday.
