A pregnant woman was killed and her husband and two others were injured in a two-vehicle crash today in Perrysburg Township, authorities said.

Rachel Kominek, 26, of Toledo was pronounced dead at the scene. Paramedics delivered her child, who was taken by medical helicopter to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center.

Troopers at the Ohio Highway Patrol's Bowling Green post said a car driven by her husband, Dustin Kominek, 24, lost control on the snow-covered road as it turned from eastbound U.S. 20 to northbound Tracy Road about 5:10 p.m., and its passenger side was struck by a westbound car driven by Melissa Domanowski, 33, of Williston, Ohio.

Ms. Domanowski and a passenger, Jillian Sheetz, 34, of Oregon,  were taken to Mercy St. Charles Hospital. Mr. Kominek was taken to St. Luke's Hospital.

No conditions were available later today. All except Mr. Kominek were wearing seat belts.
