Police identify woman found in central city alley

Toledo authorities are investigating death of Annette Logan, 49

The woman whose body was found in a central-city alley today has been identified as Annette Logan.

Ms. Logan, 49, of Toledo, was found face down in alley behind Milburn Avenue early today.

Police responded to the scene, behind 1462 Milburn, after a neighbor called police at 5:16 a.m. to report the body.

Paramedics from the Toledo Fire Department pronounced Ms. Logan dead at the scene.

Police said Ms. Logan was not "appropriately dressed" for the weather and said, initially, there were signs of a possible struggle.

Police now say Ms. Logan had minor visible injuries and her cause of death is still unknown.
