Mich. man faces charge in stabbing of girlfriend

A Pontiac, Mich., man charged with felonious assault in the stabbing of his dancer girlfriend outside a South Toledo strip club appeared Monday in Toledo Municipal Court.

Tomas Olmo, Jr., 29, was ordered to be held in lieu of $75,000 bond in Lucas County jail. He is accused of stabbing Angila Bigelow, 27, also of Pontiac, at about 3:50 a.m. Saturday in the parking lot of Deja Vu Showgirls, 135 S. Byrne Road, according to police.

Authorities say Mr. Olmo waited in the parking lot after being thrown out of the club while a patron there, and then stabbed Ms. Bigelow in the leg during an argument in his vehicle after her work shift.

She was treated at the University of Toledo Medical Center, the former Medical College of Ohio Hospital. Municipal Court Judge Robert Christiansen set a Jan. 22 preliminary hearing.
