Man in fair condition after central Toledo shooting

A man was arrested and accused of shooting another man in the 100 block of Klondike Street in central Toledo today, authorities said.

Reginald Berry was charged with felonious assault in the shooting of David Gordon and booked into the Lucas County jail pending arraignment, Toledo police said. The victim was taken to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, where he was listed in fair condition.

The shooting occurred about 1:20 a.m. at 1114 Klondike, police said.

Toledo police Sgt. Joe Heffernan said the shooting occurred during an altercation over a domestic violence incident at that location. Additional charges against the accused include assault and domestic violence, according to jail booking records.
