Wood County Sheriff appointed to full term on commission

Wood County Sheriff Mark Wasylyshyn has been appointed to a full five-year term as a member of the Ohio Private Investigation and Security Services Commission after serving six months to fill out a retirement vacancy, the sheriff's office announced.

Appointed by Gov. John Kasich, Mr. Wasylyshyn will represent Ohio's 88 county sheriffs on the commission, which advises the Ohio director of public safety on matters related to the regulation of private investigator and security services.

Other commission members include representatives of private investigation and security companies, law enforcement, and the general public.
